NASCAR Driver Hauled From Insane Crash On Stretcher

A huge pileup left the No. 21 car almost completely destroyed and the driver of the No. 0 car hauled away on a stretcher, but that wasn’t the end of this insane crash at all. 

During last weekend’s NASCAR Whelen Sportsman Division at the famous Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C., a crash that Fox Sports is calling ‘The Big One’ has left drivers and fans speechless. 

On a late restart, the No. 7 (Dylan Ward) bumped right into the back of the leading No. 81 (Zack Clifton) and turned him sideways. At that point, all bets were off and the cars just started piling up. 

The drivers behind these two had nowhere to go except straight ahead, plowing hard into the back and sides of the two leaders. 10 cars total were involved in the crash, but two of those were just minor scratch-n-dent issues. 

The No. 7 skidded up on top of the Adam’s No. 0 taking his roof with it. Adams was carried out on a stretcher and looked to be in a significant amount of pain. It was reported that he raced again later that evening after being checked out. 

Zack Clifton decided to trash the No. 7 car by jumping on the hood and yelling at Ward – but it seems useless since both cars were already crushed.
