Reba McEntire Reveals What Life Is Like After Divorce

The longtime country favorite opens up about how she’s moving on and what she’s doing with her new freedom.

Following the divorce from her husband of over two decades last year, Reba McEntire isn’t wasting any time in getting out and doing things she loves. 

“I’ve got a great team of people that I’m working with, who are coming up with new ideas for me to do things that I haven’t done in the past,” she tells People Magazine. 

Her ex-husband, Narvel Blackstock, was also her manager for 26 years. When they divorced, that left her as her own manager, but it seems like she’s enjoying that new title and says that her residency with fan-favorite country duo, Brooks & Dunn is going great!

“I’m having a wonderful time with Brooks and Dunn, with our residency in Las Vegas at Caesar’s Coliseum,” Reba continued, adding, “I’m having a great time traveling and working.”

Speaking of Reba’s traveling – she recently jetted off on a luxurious Canadian Rockies escape with some close pals aboard a hotel-train known as the Rocky Mountaineer.

“It was the most beautiful scenery you’ve ever seen in your life!” She exclaimed, adding “The second day was totally different scenery than the first day, because it was more desert. It was absolutely beautiful.”

The 61-year-old country hitmaker also reveals that her new life as a single gal is going exceedingly well and says that it’s full of “a lot of great things” that she looks forward to. 

On top of seeing her friends and spending time with her family, she confesses, “I’m having a blast!”

We are so glad to hear that the one and only Reba is doing so many fun things and living life to the fullest!
