Kane Brown had some heartbreaking news to share with his fans on Friday (September 23).
Brown first rose to fame through the power of the internet, when his covers of country icons such as Garth Brooks and George Strait caught the attention of millions. Thanks to the huge following he developed, Brown was able to release a new EP, which debuted at #3 on the Top Country Albums chart.
Things have only gotten better for Brown's career since then. He has plans to release his debut studio album on December 2 and is touring with Florida Georgia Line on their Dig Your Roots Tour.
But in the midst of Brown's professional success he's experienced a lot of personal hardships lately. Back in July, Brown learned that his 19-year-old sister had been stabbed by another woman while he was away for a concert. Luckily, Brown's sister was alright.
Now, Brown has to cope with another sad occurrence in his life. In a simple message he wrote on social media, Brown revealed that his "papa" had passed away.
Condolences from fans came flooding in, as they all attempted to comfort Brown during what is surely a sad time for him and his family. We too wish to extend our deepest sympathies to Brown during this sad time.
