Shania Twain Moves On In Highly Anticipated New Music Video

It’s been nearly 15 years since Shania Twain‘s last full-length album release. She’s been through a lot in the years since including a highly publicized divorce, a battle with Lyme disease the loss of her world famous voice.

But, now Shania is back and better than ever! The best-selling female vocalist of all time is gearing up to release a new project in September titled NOW. And, if her first single is any indication, we’re in for a treat.

Unlike Shania’s previous album, all of the tracks on NOW were written by Shania alone during her years-long hiatus.

“I’m a songwriter first. That absolutely drives everything. It was a big step toward independence. I pushed myself, knowing it was going to scare me and knowing that I, alone, was responsible for however it turned out,” Twain told ET

“I love collaborating, but I didn’t want any emotional, psychological, or musical influence,” she adds. “The minute you invite somebody into that space, you’re influenced. And then it wouldn’t be me. It wouldn’t be pure. This may be the purest work I ever do.”

Twain’s first single from NOW, “Life’s About To Get Good,” was released in June after a well-received premiere at Stagecoach. Thursday morning the 51-year old revealed the music video for the tune and it’s everything we hoped it would be. In true Shania form, the video somehow combines sexy, sassy and fun and the result is a magical trip through the singer’s past and into her future.

The highlight of the video is when Shania revisits some of her famous costumes from past videos including “Man, I Feel Like A Woman,” and dons head-to-toe denim in an ode to her first chart-topping hit, “Any Man of Mine.”

It appears that Shania Twain is back in a big way and plans to be around for awhile. Watch the music video for “Life’s About To Get Good” below.
