Soloist’s Smooth Cover Of ‘When I Get Where I’m Going’ Will Move You To Tears

YouTube

Every now and then we stumble across a video that we think everyone needs to see. Such is the case with a dynamic cover of the Brad Paisley hit “When I Get Where I’m Going” performed by Chris Chavez.

Chavez, an Indiana native, is just two years out of college and has earned a living as a worship leader and studio musician. His smooth vocals are the perfect match for the Brad Paisley tune and leave us wondering why we haven’t heard of Chavez until now.

Lucky for us, it sounds like we’ll be hearing lots more from the 23-year old. Chavez recently announced that he was recently recruited by Grammy nominated producer Wayne Haun to be a part of country music’s next all-male quartet, 4th and Main.

4th and Main brings together the talents of Chavez, Randy Austin, Blake Whitlock and Chase McDaniel to fill a gaping hole in the country music industry. While the Statler Brothers, the Oak Ridge Boys and others are still performing, there hasn’t been a fresh-faced all-male quartet to hit the scene in years. If the success of their debut music video for a stunning cover of Keith Whitley’s “When You Say Nothing At All” is any indication, big things are in store for 4th and Main!
