An artist’s radio debut often has a make it or break it effect on the remainder of their career. After his recent announcement that he had finally secured a contract with music label Republic NYC, fans began eagerly waiting for Sundance Head‘s radio debut. 

The Season 11 Voice champion recently made his debut onto the Texas radio waves, and the people have made their decision. So what are the results exactly? In an fantastic turn of events, Head’s “13 Years” quickly climbed to No.5!



Lucky for fans, and Head, it looks like the singer predicted by coach Blake Shelton to “break the mold” is here to stay! In addition to killer radio results, the singer will also be opening for Shelton on his Doing It To Country Songs tour kicking off Feb. 12 alongside former Voice contestant RaeLynn.

Before he was on The Voice, Head shared to a small crowd that “13 Years” came about following an argument between him and his wife who had just celebrated their thirteenth wedding anniversary, offering the song as a peace offering.
