Sundance Head. Remember that name because you're going to be hearing a lot about this guy in the months and years to come. The bearded country singer is currently a member of Team Blake on The Voice but we first heard of him when he landed in the Top 16 on American Idol's season 6. He is currently the guy to beat during season 11 of The Voice as week after week he continues to amaze.
During last night's episode of The Voice, Head secured his spot on Team Blake with a stunning performance of "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus. Shelton chose to keep Head after a Knockout round in which the singer faced off against Josh Gallagher who nailed a cover of Brooks & Dunn's "My Maria."
For the Knockouts, artists get to choose which song they would like to perform, so Head's choice was somewhat surprising. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, this week's key advisers, applauded the 37-year old's song choice saying it was a great country song for a guy. But, coach Blake Shelton wasn't sure he agreed and called the tune "risky."
The choice paid off for Sundance Head as he secured his spot on Team Blake. The next time we see the singer will be during the upcoming live shows.
