The country legend had a fall just before the Labor Day concert she puts on at her ranch every year and, as a result, she’s been forced to cancel multiple performances to accommodate for surgery and recovery…but it looks like that’s going to take even longer than she expected.

On September 7th, Loretta Lynn‘s team announced on her website that she would be missing a handful of dates around Texas to allow her to undergo “minor surgery”.

That surgery required here to stay off the road for enough time to allow for a “full recovery”, which many thought were included in the cancellations through mid-September, but new information shows that she might be extending her recovery while still trying to make it to as many performances as possible.

Loretta’s upcoming shows in New Braunfels on the 23rd and 24th of this month have been officially cancelled by the venue citing the surgery as the cause, but Gruene Hall does say that they are trying to re-book her – which means that she’s trying to make up the dates even though the recovery is taking longer.

Refunds for the two dates are being issued currently and they are hoping to announce a replacement date soon.

The full post from Gruene Hall is included below. We wish Loretta a very speedy recovery.
