After successfully getting the photos that allegedly captured the entire ordeal sealed in evidence, the young music superstar’s statement on her traumatizing experience is released to the public.

Just over a year ago, former radio DJ David Mueller filed a lawsuit against Taylor Swift for various damages including his lost position, forfeited job opportunities, and aggressive physical handling from her team after she alleged that he groped her during a meet and greet in 2013.

In October of 2015, Swift counter-sued Mueller and recently requested restricted public access to the photos that, she claims, show the alleged incident. While Swift won and the photos are now sealed from public eye, her statement describing the incident has been released by the court.

During a July 2016 deposition in the matter, Swift was asked to describe the incident from memory multiple times.

“Right as the moment came for us to pose for the photo, he took his hand and put it up my dress and grabbed onto my a– cheek, and no matter how much I scooted over, it was still there,” She revealed, adding that she felt “frantic, distressed….[and] violated in a way [she] had never experienced before.”

While Mueller claims that he was not the one who groped her, and placed the blame squarely on his former radio station manager, Swift says in the deposition, “It was completely intentional; I’ve never been so sure of anything in my life.”

Nobody should ever be subjected to situations such as the one that Swift experienced, and to help ensure that this doesn’t happen to anyone else again, she has committed any award money from her counterclaim to charities for victims of sexual abuse.
