After decades in the business, the Oak Ridge Boys are going just as strong as ever. The iconic country group has maintained a busy tour schedule this year, and will continue to tour through mid-November.
In the middle of their tour, the Oak Ridge Boys found the time to sing the National Anthem prior to NASCAR's Bojangles' Southern 500 race at the Darlington Raceway in South Carolina. We've heard the Oak Ridge Boys sing the National Anthem many times before, but this performance may be one of their best.
Anyone can recognize an Oak Ridge Boys song because of their powerful harmonies. Those harmonies were placed on full display during their rendition of the National Anthem, with each voice playing a crucial part in their performance.
Those voices rang brilliantly over the racetrack while a handful of drivers and spectators stood by and watched. The group sang the song with so much passion that you can feel it simply from watching their performance through your screen.
As the Oak Ridge Boys neared the end of their performance, those who listened to them sing burst into an enthusiastic round of cheers and applause. It was a well-earned reaction, as you can tell that the group poured their heart and soul into their performance.
