Following the horrific chemical attacks in Syria, an upwards of 100 men and women lost their lives. The series of nightmarish attacks throughout Khan Sheikhoun in northern Syria is estimated to be one of the deadliest accounts of chemical warfare the country has seen in years.

After news broke of the tragedy that has wrecked the lives of countless innocent people in the country, the always generous Robertson family are fighting to do their part to assist in the recovery of the survivors now forced to rebuild a life from the rubble. Willie Robertson and his wife Korie took to Facebook to ask fans for help in light of the devastating incident.

“I’m sure you’ve heard the news about Syria and the atrocities that are going on there with the chemical weapons,” said Willie in a video uploaded to his Facebook page.

“We just don’t want the people there to lose hope,” chimed in Korie. “We don’t want you guys to lose hope either…We are doing a lot, we just need more help.”

Willie and Korie have teamed up Preemptive Love to help the survivors of the attack. They are challenging their friends and fans to raise $106,000 which they then will match with a personal donation of the same amount to the organization.

“Any amount helps. We are not powerless. We can make a difference here,” they wrote in the caption attached to the Facebook video.
