You won't believe who these four coaches picked to help them strengthen their teams for the forthcoming 13th season of NBC's "The Voice"!
Already welcoming a brand new face to the four big red chairs, the hit TV singing competition will also be hosting a slew of new advisors to help each coach hone their team's skills and try to take home the top prize.
With longstanding coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine welcoming a return from Miley Cyrus and brand-new coach Jennifer Hudson, the assortment of advisors and mentors is surely going to intensify the competition.
Miley Cyrus already had spilled the beans on her choice of mentor/advisor for this next season and it will be interesting to watch her work with dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, to strengthen her team. During her first season, she picked rock legend Joan Jett as her advisor.
Newly announced, Adam Levine has picked DNCE frontman and former Jonas Brothers member, Joe Jonas, as his helper - and is hoping for a win this time.
Of the choice, Levine explained what landed his sights on Jonas, "He offers good advice, and very sound advice. I trust his opinion, because I'm a fan of him. Whenever you can trust that someone's going to help out these kids, that's what you want in a mentor to help you. And trust me, I've worked with people I didn't necessarily know as well, and it hasn't been as good, 'cause you have to have kind of chemistry."
Jennifer Hudson, who rose to fame on American Idol, recently appeared on the UK version of The Voice and revealed she is making her debut in the US with former Destiny's Child singer, Kelly Rowland, as her advisor choice. Many folks are curious to see how Hudson fares in the competition because she took home the top honors during her time on The Voice UK.
Finally, Blake Shelton also confirmed his selection for mentors on the new season and he's definitely keeping it country! Picking up a three-for-one deal, Shelton announced that iconic trio, Rascal Flatts, will be helping him fine-tune his team.
"It's just been fun working with them," Lead singer Gary LeVox told Extra TV. "Blake's got such a great ear turning his chair around and finding great people. So it's been awesome to meet with them and just give them some pointers, some tips - and it's ben a lot of fun. A lot of talent on Team Blake!"
