It's been 10 years since Faith Hill and Tim McGraw wrapped their second co-headlining tour, which at the time was the highest grossing country music tour in history. The tour anniversary just happens to coincide with the couple's 20th wedding anniversary so it only seems fitting that Tim & Faith would take their chemistry back on the road.
Rumors began swirling that the two were gearing up for a tour announcement after several concert venues posted concert bulletins for the coming year. Fans also started speculating after the couple began posting throwback vacation photos on social media that contained unique symbolism.
During a Facebook Live appearance from a surprise appearance at the Ryman Auditorium Tuesday night (October 4), Tim & Faith confirmed the news.
In 2000, Tim & Faith kicked off their first Soul2Soul tour together, selling out 60 of the 65 tour stops. But, this was not the first time the two had toured together. Hill was McGraw's opening act on his 1996 Spontaneous Combustion Tour, which is where they first met. Soul2Soul II was an even greater success as it shattered the tour income record previously set by Garth Brooks.
With a collective 8 Grammy Awards, 29 ACM Awards, 16 American Music Awards, and numerous other honors, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's Soul2Soul The World Tour is sure to be one of the biggest country music tours we've ever seen!
Tour dates have been posted at the official Soul2Soul Tour website. Will you be going?
