Tim McGraw has a lot to celebrate. The 49-year-old’s name dominated headlines after news broke of him and wife Faith Hill’s upcoming 2017 Soul2Soul World Tour, he was a featured key advisor for the eleventh season of The Voice, and now he’s made country music history with a record breaking feat. McGraw made history as the first solo artist to have three singles featured in the Top 15 on the country music chart simultaneously.
“We have the best fans in the world, who have been with us through our entire journey and we are so excited to celebrate with them by going back on the road and showcasing an exciting new show,” McGraw and Hill said in a recent press release regarding their impending joint tour. “It’s always great when we get to work together and it’s been a while since we got to do that.”
In addition to his most recent achievements, McGraw is up for “Single of the Year” and “Song of the Year” for his sentimental “Humble and Kind,” as well as “Male Vocalist of the Year” at the 50th Annual CMA Awards airing Nov. 2.
