On Sunday (March 11) right after Tim McGraw sang his hit song “Humble and Kind” at the C2C music festival in Dublin, Ireland, he collapsed to his knees and was rushed off stage for immediate medical attention.
McGraw and his country star wife Faith Hill were co-headlining the music festival that also had stops in London and Glasgow the previous two nights.
Around the one-minute mark in the video below, you can see McGraw’s terrifying collapse.
After a 20-minute delay, Hill came on stage to give the 3Arena crowd an update on her husband.
“So, Tim is fine,” she told the audience, as they all cheered for McGraw. “We’ve all been a little bit dehydrated, traveling so much, and he’s been super dehydrated, and I apologize, but I made the decision that he cannot come back out on stage.”
Hill then performed the song “What A Friend We Have In Jesus” before leaving the stage for the final time. See her speech and performance in the video below.
The married couple were spotted in Dublin on Monday morning (March 12) and he even gave photographers a thumbs up.
TMZ caught up with McGraw, Hill, and their youngest daughter Audrey as they landed in the United States at JFK Airport in New York on Monday night (March 12).
When asked what contributed to his collapse on stage, he said, “Lots of flying and dehydration.“
McGraw showed that his sense of humor is still in tact when suggesting a solution to his problem.
“Gotta cut short my workouts,” he joked.
