After already calling the football player a "dumbass", this NASCAR star is going after him again in a new series of tweets.
Tony Stewart first made headlines for his all-out assault on Colin Kaepernick's refusal to stand for the National Anthem when he called him out on Twitter saying that the 49ers quarterback "needs to learn the facts about police before running his dumbass mouth".
This was brought forward after Kaepernick refused to stand for the National Anthem on August 26th and said that it was because our country "oppresses black people and people of color" and then stated that he was upset with the police violence situation happening.
Many celebrities and public figures like Donald Trump have openly denounced Kaepernick and even called on him to leave the U.S.
Now, Stewart is holding Kaepernick's hands to the fire with several new tweets about the situation. He first clarifies his intention with the initial tweet.
For the record, I'm not saying our nation isn't messed up, just that police officers are not the root of the problem. They take the blame— Tony Stewart (@TonyStewart) August 30, 2016
He then uploaded a photo that showed Kaepernick wearing a pair of socks that depicted police officers as pigs; only furthering his disrespect of the police forces in America. Stewart added a sarcastic caption to the photo, essentially calling Kaepernick "classless".
This is exactly my point. Class act👍🏼 pic.twitter.com/BYdMqAXVAu— Tony Stewart (@TonyStewart) September 1, 2016
