The longtime racing star says that the quarterback is a “dumbass” during his fiery attack on the football star over some controversial statement and recent actions.

Known for his time spent on the track, NASCAR legend Tony Stewart has never been shy of speaking his mind off the track – and one of his recent statement only proves that even further.

Setting his sights on the highly-controversial quarterback of the San Fransisco 49ers, Colin Kaepernick, Stewart doesn’t pull any punches when it comes to standing up for police shootings and patriotism.

It sounds like Stewart is echoing the same thing that the San Fransisco Police Officers Association stated recently when they sent a strongly worded letter to the 49ers asking for an apology and offering lessons in “police training and what officers go through on a daily basis.”

Kaepernick first made headlines when he refused to stand during the national anthem last Friday (August 26th) and continued to make them with his follow up explanation.

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick told reporters, TMZ says. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

Many public figures, including Donald Trump have spoken out against Kaepernick’s decision to stand.

What do you think of Tony Stewart’s view? Do you agree with him?
