UPDATE: New Details Emerge About Stabbing Of Kane Brown’s Sister

For Kane Brown, Tuesday night (July 26) was just another normal night of performing, this time at the Waiting Room Lounge in Omaha, Nebraska. But the night took an unexpected turn when he got a text from home saying something terrible had happened. 

Brown made an urgent plea on Facebook Tuesday night for his fans to please pray for his sister. In a horrifying confession, Brown revealed that his sister had been stabbed four times. He didn’t elaborate any further about what occurred, but mentioned the whole thing had him feeling “sick to [his] stomach.“

Fans sent their prayers pouring in, as many waited anxiously to hear an update about Brown’s sister. 

An update finally came through Chattanooga news station WRCB, with reporter Kelly McCarthy tweeting photos of Brown’s sister, Heidi Monshell Nevaeh, saying that she is expected to be alright.

Chattanooga police spokesman Kyle Miller spoke to WRCB about what happened to Navaeh, saying that she was stabbed in the neck and shoulder during a fight with another woman. WRCB’s report states that Navaeh was taken to the hospital, and although her injuries are not life-threatening, she may have permanent nerve damage.

No arrests have been made yet, and Miller says that investigators are currently gathering information about the suspect in the case. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Chattanooga police at 423-698-2525.
