In conjunction with Country Rebel, one of Las Vegas' most popular country music venues, Stoney's Rockin' Country, will be putting on a free benefit concert, Vegas Country Strong, with all proceeds going towards the Las Vegas Victims' Fund.
The fund was set up by Steve Sisolak, the Clark County Commission Chair, and according to the GoFundMe page, "Funds will be used to provide relief and financial support to the victims and families of the horrific Las Vegas mass shooting."
Stoney's is doing everything they can to give back to the victims of the senseless tragedy at Route 91 Harvest Festival, where a lot of their friends, family, and patrons were enjoying an incredible night of country music before a gunman opened fire on the crowd.
The country bar hosted a free Solidarity Concert on Wednesday, October 4, where country singer Tony Jackson led an emotional tribute to the victims with a cover of "Lean On Me."
Country singer Scotty Alexander, who is a Las Vegas resident, will be hosting the benefit concert alongside his wife, Lisa. Performers include both Scotty and Lisa, their daughter Tanna, Frankie Morino, Justin Holmes, Randy Anderson, Seth Turner, Chris Heers, Maddie Leigh, and more.
Vegas Country Strong will be held on Sunday, October 8, with doors opening at 3 pm.
