Vince Gill Takes Job As Merchandise Salesman For Nashville Predators

Vince Gill is known as an outstanding musician and an incredible golfer. But, did you know he’s a huge fan of hockey as well?

In 2014, Gill was appointed to the Nashville Predators Foundation’s board of directors. The Country Music Hall of Famer and longtime season ticket holder also joined the broadcast team where he acted as commentator for several of the team’s games.

Now Gill seems to have taken up a new job with the Nashville hockey team. In a new video posted by the Predators, Gill is seen working in the team’s store inside Bridgestone Arena. The country star’s sense of humor shines as he helps customers shop for merchandise.

“Things are getting a little tough around here. They’re not buying my records much anymore. And I wanted to be a Predator, but I was too old and fat, and I can’t skate,” Gill jokes in the video opening.

Throughout the video Gill shows off his keen shopping skills, something he credits his daughters for.

“I’m looking for a small. I’m looking for a 4. That I learned from all my daughters,” the singer says as he looks through a rack of shirts. “That’s beautiful. It has a nice neckline,” he says to a customer as he encourages her to make a purchase.
