Following the announcement Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, and Miley Cyrus would all act as coaches on Season 13 and 14 of NBC's The Voice, many fans of the singing series were left wondering what lies ahead for Gwen Stefani, who has yet to sign on for a fourth season.
The show's producer Mark Burnett met up with Entertainment Tonight to discuss what lies ahead for popstar in the upcoming seasons of the show.
"Once you've got a red chair, you always have a red chair," Burnett said according to Entertainment Tonight. "Coaches go on tour and make albums. This is the challenge of The Voice, is fitting into the schedule of these currently top-selling artists... [but] we love all our coaches."
The producer went on to express how happy he is that Stefani and Blake Shelton found love in the famous red chairs, saying, they're "such a great, great couple" and how they act when the cameras are on is identical to how they act when they are off.
While Shelton has already singed on for next season, both Stefani and Alicia Keys will not be returning for Season 13, however, Burnett is overjoyed with the incoming coaches as well as Cyrus to make her return.
"It's amazing to have both Jennifer and Kelly. I've known Kelly for a long time, and Jennifer is amazing. I've worked with her on award shows before, and you saw she performed last week on [The Voice finale]."
While Season 13 of the singing competition doesn't air until later this year, it is shaping up to be one of the most competitive yet.
