After being crowned the Season Four champion of The Voice, Danielle Bradbery quickly took the world of country music by storm with her hit single “The Heart of Dixie.” While everything may seem perfect on the surface, deep down, the young singer has been struggling with emotional issues.

In an Instagram post, the 20-year-old singer revealed she’s been experiencing many sleepless nights due to “the evil” attempting to drag her down. Bradbery goes on to explain that she’s often felt “lost” and that through faith alone she’s remained strong.

“It might not even be going after something, it could be everyday life, a relationship, a friendship, whatever it is…just be strong,” writes Bradbery. The singer bravely writes of her own personal struggles in hopes of encouraging her fans to pursue their dreams and face their doubts and fears head on.

Bradbery recently released a powerful duet alongside Thomas Rhett titled “Playing With Fire.” While popstar Jordan Sparks originally recorded the song with Rhett, he chose to re-record with Bradbery after touring with her, releasing the rebooted song on his Tangled Up Deluxe album.
