January 24 was an exciting day for fans of Trace Adkins. That day he announced a new album, a new single, and a new tour!

When it comes to the new album and single, here's all of the details you need to know. The album is titled Something's Going On, and is set for release on March 31. You can pre-order the album here, and can get the songs "Jesus and Jones" and "Lit" right away.
The other song that is available right now is Adkins' new single, "Watered Down." Adkins also released a lyric video for the song, which was filmed on his farm outside of Nashville.
"Watered Down" is told from the perspective of a man who has seen a few wild days in his life, but now things have slowed down a bit. Still, he can feel a bit of that rebellious streak inside of him, it's just more "watered down."
During an interview with Nash Country Daily, Adkins revealed that he doesn't usually tell people what his favorite song is off of an album. But he made an exception in the case of this upcoming album.
"This one, I unabashedly said 'Watered Down' is my favorite song on this record," he said. "'Watered Down' I'd say really is my baby."
Adkins went on to explain his reasoning:
"Lyrically, from the very first line it really encapsulates and summarizes where I find myself, it seems, at this point in my life...Everything about the song just fit exactly where I seem to be in my life right now."
Now it's time for you to hear exactly what Adkins is talking about. You can catch the lyric video for "Watered Down" below. Don't forget to pre-order his album Something's Going On if you'd like to get a copy of the song right away!
