On the Season 10 premiere of Duck Dynasty, a new family member was introduced.

Over a year ago, Willie and Korie Robertson met a 12-year-old boy named Rowdy who was in need of a family and a place to call home. As you all know, the Robertsons have already adopted a son, Little Will, and are huge supporters of adoption.

When they met Rowdy, they fell in love and felt that he needed to be part of their family.

They began fostering him and he popped up on many a social media posts, without us even knowing! In January 2016, Korie took to Instagram to announce who he was and that his adoption was being finalized.

Unbeknownst to us, Rowdy had actually been in family photos beginning in May 2015. He was at John Luke’ high school graduation, John Luke’s wedding to Mary Kate, Thanksgiving, and all the other family events.

With the adoption of Rowdy complete, the Robertson family started a new foundation called Drive Adoption, which was launched, appropriately at the Duck Dynasty family’s NASCAR event, the Duck Commander 500.

Rowdy made his Duck Dynasty debut last week, and we can already tell how loved he is!

We can’t wait to see more of Rowdy this season!

In the clip below, Korie explains how she first met Rowdy. Watch it below.
