The men who comprise the popular brand and television show Buck Commander have lost one of their own.
Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson and his family found so much success from his father's business, Duck Commander, that they started a similar company, but for deer hunting, which they appropriately called Buck Commander.
Along with merchandise, the company sold hunting videos of the "Buckmen", which eventually turned into the Outdoor Channel TV show fans know and love today. Just a few days ago, the eighth season premiered on the network.
Although the Buckmen are in front of the camera, it takes a village of people to film and produce these videos and shows. Rick Carone was a longtime member of the Buck Commander family and according to his Twitter bio, he was a videographer for the company.
In 2013, Carone was diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer but didn't let it get him down. He continued to do things he was passionate about including hunting, spending time with his two daughters, being a loyal friend and a follower of Jesus.
On Thursday (June 29), Buck Commander shared the sad news with their fans that a member of their family had passed away.
"Today marks the end of a long battle for our good friend Rick Carone," the Facebook post read. "Cancer may have taken Rick's earthly body but now he is in heaven walking with Jesus! Rick inspired so many people and will forever be remembered as a fighter. See ya' soon brother! We love you!"
Aldean shared a photo of Carone on Instagram with a sweet tribute that read, "One of our [Buck Commander] brothers got called home this morning after a long cancer battle. Prayers going out to his family. You can rest easy now my friend."
Carone's family and friends ask that in lieu of flowers, a contribution be sent to the following trust that is set up for his daughters' education.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Carone's daughters, family, and friends. During his battle, he asked Robertson to baptize him, which served to be quite an emotional day. Watch it below.
