22-year-old Tenille Arts had her audience at the edge of their seats when her cover of a Carrie Underwood hit angelically promised her mother that the man of her dreams was, in fact, her Prince Charming.
Singing the blonde bombshell’s heartwarming tune “Mama’s Song”, Arts was a vision of serene beauty as the breeze gently tossed her hair while she showcased her stellar vocals.
“And he is good, so good/ He treats your little girl like a real man should/ He is good, so good, he makes promises he keeps/ No he’s never gonna leave/ So don’t you worry about me/ Don’t you worry about me,” she flawlessly sang, captivating her viewers as she strummed her guitar.
Her upload was soon brimming with praising comments, encouraging the young woman’s phenomenal talent and gift.
Underwood co-wrote the loving ballad, releasing it as her fourth and final single on her highly regarded album Play On. In addition to peaking at no. 2 on the charts, the song was also nominated for Best Country Solo Performance at the 54th Grammy Awards.
