Bryan Martin Was Recently Arrested At His Own Show

Country singer Bryan Martin says he’s ready to get help after being arrested during his own concert.

On August 29, Bryan Martin was performing at the Schaghticoke Fairgrounds in New York when his behavior raised concern.

The Renssellaer County Sheriff’s Office was called, and police later shared on Facebook that Martin was showing “signs of intoxication and erratic behavior, which ultimately required him to be removed from the stage.”

According to the statement, deputies and the venue’s staff tried to help Martin off the stage, but “due to his impaired state, he became resistant and had to be forcibly escorted out.”

Shortly After The Singer Issued An Apology

Not long after the incident, Martin posted an apology on his social media.

“Sorry I let yall down tonight… truth is I’m not ok…” he wrote. “Been hitting it hard for a while and haven’t took time to be honest with myself about my mental health and it’s nothing new to struggle with my anxiety and depression.”

Martin shared that he’s been dealing with struggles that have been “a weight on my heart lately.” He then addressed his actions at the concert, saying it’s time to take a step back and receive help.

“I’ve learned I let my fragile mind override my heart at times and tonight it got the best of me… I apologize for the bad days… but I’m grateful for the countless good nights we’ve shared this year.. it’s been the most consistent streak I’ve seen in years.. day one of another one starts today.. Gods Got more in store and he’s restoring my strength as we speak… I’ll still be rocking but I think it’s times to slow down a lil and get back to writing songs and getting the help I need.”

Bryan Martin Releases A New Song Titled “Help”

Five days after his arrest, Martin posted again to social media. This time, he shared a video message directly to his fans.

“I’m pretty sure y’all have seen one of my low moments circulating out there,” he began. “I let my family down…I let myself down…I let my fans down.”

Martin explained that he’s been holding a lot in and not opening up about it. He said it’s because he was raised to keep things to himself.

He admitted that in the past, he was too stubborn to ask for help with his alcoholism. Recently, he revisited a song he wrote with his friend Colt Ford a few years ago. The track is called “Help.”

The song was written before he wanted to make changes, but now, the lyrics have a more personal meaning for him.

Martin shared that he is officially releasing the song to not only help himself but also reach and support others going through similar struggles.

“I just really want y’all to know, I’m ready. I’m ready to ask for help. And I’m ready to put this song out. If anybody is out there dealing with the same thing, y’all are afraid to ask for help, just know you’re not alone…”

Fans can now stream Bryan Martin’s song “Help” on all major music platforms.
