Charlie Kirk Has Been Killed

Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was killed on Wednesday (September 10) at the age of 31, President Donald Trump confirmed on social media.

Charlie Shot During Appearance At Utah Valley University

Kirk was tragically shot during a Q&A session Wednesday (September 10) at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

The shooting occurred under a pop-up tent as part of his “American Comeback Tour.” 

Bystanders described a chaotic scene, and law enforcement confirmed shots were fired.

“A single shot was fired on campus toward a visiting speaker. Police are investigating now, suspect in custody,” an alert from UVU said.

Charlie’s Inspirational Voice In The Conservative World

Kirk co-founded Turning Point USA (TPUSA) in 2012, and was the chief executive officer of Turning Point Action, Turning Point Academy, and Turning Point Faith; president of Turning Point Endowment; and a member of the Council for National Policy.

Kirk was passionate about conservative values, particularly speaking to young people on high school and college campuses.

The 31-year-old also hosted a daily podcast, The Charlie Kirk Show, and frequently appeared at conservative conferences and events.

Kirk was married to Erika, and together the couple had two children.
