Bella Robertson Is Being Honest About Her And Her Husband’s Journey To Building A Family
“Duck Dynasty” stars Willie and Korie Robertson’s youngest daughter is sharing about her and her husband’s struggle to start a family.
Bella Robertson (22), opened up in a recent interview with Us Weekly and revealed her and her husband Jacob (26) are dealing with infertility.
“I think people just don’t know what they’re talking about or who they’re talking to,” Robertson said during the interview. “We share a story of infertility in the show and that’s something that we haven’t really shared publicly that much, but that’s something that others just don’t know. When you just look at someone on social media, you can’t know what anyone’s going through.”
Bella and Jacob were married when she was just 18 years old back in 2021. He says he wishes getting pregnant was as “easy” as other it appears for other people.
“I think what we’ve learned in marriage – and you’ll see in our story in the show – is that I wish getting pregnant and having kids was as easy as people act like it is,” Mayo said. “Just, ‘Oh, I can just pop out a kid,’ or ‘If we want to wait, we get to choose to wait.’ It’s not that transactional of a thing.”
The young couple has not shared their journey publicly until now, but changed their minds with the hope that opening up on the show would help many others going through the same difficulties.
“I think we both felt like if we could help anybody – especially, what are the odds that we’re on this stage, where we can share something that is so real for so many?” Bella continued.
Bella And Jacob’s Sweet Love Story
Bella confirmed in 2020 that she was engaged to then-boyfriend Jacob, after just six months of dating.
“i was thankful for you yesterday, i am thankful for you today, and now i get to be thankful for you for the rest of my life! I am blown away by Gods goodness and grace. @jacobdmayo lets get married!! I love you forever” the “Duck Dynasty” star shared on social media at the time.
The two were married on June 5th, 2021, and shared many beautiful photos of their Louisiana wedding.
Since then, the young couple has shared a peak into their exciting lives on social media, posting frequent adventures, including many trips abroad.
A New Season Of Duck Dynasty Begins
The brand new season of the series titled “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” is set to air on A&E beginning next Sunday (June 1).
The series will feature Willie, Korie, their adult children and grandchildren, living as a family and experiencing marriage, parenthood, owning different businesses and life in Louisiana.
Willie is the oldest son of the late Phil Robertson and Miss Kay.
