“Dynamic Duo” Luke Bryan & Jason Aldean Perform Shenandoah’s Classic “Sunday In The South”
on Nov 04, 2025

Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean recently came together to perform their cover of “Sunday in the South.”
In 2024, Luke and Jason teamed up with Shenandoah’s lead singer, Marty Raybon, to remake the group’s 1989 hit. Not long after, they released a music video for their cover, which includes a special appearance from Shenandoah themselves.

Originally, “Sunday in the South” was released as the third single from Shenandoah’s second studio album. It became their second number one hit and is still considered one of the most iconic songs in country music.
So, when Luke and Jason were invited to give new life to the already iconic track, fans were very excited. It even reached the number one spot on iTunes last December.
But it’s not just a fan favorite, it’s also one of their favorite songs to perform together whenever they get the rare chance to share the stage.
And recently, fans got to see that special moment again.
