Elizabeth Hurley & Billy Ray Cyrus Went Public With Their Relationship Earlier Last Month
Actress Elizabeth Hurley and country singer Billy Ray Cyrus made their relationship public with a sweet Instagram post on Easter Sunday.
In the photo, the two are seen cozying up next to each other, leaning against a wooden fence as Cyrus places a kiss on Hurley’s cheek.
The two had known each other for a few years before their relationship turned romantic, having starred alongside each other in the 2022 movie Christmas in Paradise.
Once news broke that they were officially a couple, reactions quickly started pouring in, with many fans being surprised by the unexpected pairing.
Their romance comes just eight months after Cyrus finalized his divorce from singer Firerose.
Cyrus and Firerose tied the knot in October 2023, but just seven months later, he filed for divorce. In the filing, he cited irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct as the reasons behind the split. Their divorce was finalized in August 2024.
Hurley Speaks On The “Great Life” She Sees With Cyrus
Hurley and Cyrus’ relationship appears to be going strong. The couple has been very open about their romance, speaking about each other on multiple occasions since debuting their relationship.
Most recently, during an interview with E! News, Hurley shared how happy they were together, and even hinted that she sees a long future with Cyrus.
“It was unexpected,” she told the outlet. “But we’re very happy together. And hopefully we’ll have a great life.”
Cyrus has also opened up about their relationship. He recalled the first time they met during an episode of Apple Music Country’s The Ty Bentli Show.
He remembered how they instantly hit it off, saying that their connection was natural from the very beginning.
“We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn’t laughing a lot,” Cyrus said.
“The oddest part was first, how much we laughed,” he continued. “Second, I figured we were so different but in some very strange way we had way more in common than we had different.”
