Elon Musk Makes Bold Statement About Wanting To Die On Mars

Elon Musk is known for his unconventional thinking when it comes to space and the possibilities of exploring other planets. The Tesla CEO and SpaceX founder has spent years pushing the boundaries of space exploration, and he has an ambitious dream to go along with it.

Recently, President Donald Trump and Elon Musk sat down for an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity. During their conversation, the discussion shifted to Musk’s background, where they briefly talked about his groundbreaking business ventures, including his role in making SpaceX the first private company to send astronauts into orbit.

President Trump then added to the conversation, revealing that Musk himself would be heading to space soon.

“He’s going to go into orbit soon,” Trump declared.

Musk let out a small chuckle before agreeing, but it seems he somewhat hinted that it wouldn’t be happening right away. He simply stated it would take place “at some point.”

That was when Musk made a bold statement about the direction he sees his life going, more specifically about where he wants to spend his final moments.

“They always ask me, like, “Do you want to die on Mars?” And I say, “Well, yes, but not on impact,” he says with a laugh.

Although Musk has successfully sent multiple astronauts to the International Space Station, and even famously launched one of his Tesla Roadsters into space as part of a test flight in 2018, he hasn’t made the journey to space himself yet.

This also isn’t the first time that Musk has commented about wanting to die on Mars. In fact, it’s something he’s been planning for a while. According to the news outlet Benzinga, Musk made the same statement all the way back in 2013 during a keynote address at South by Southwest.
