CKE Restaurants Is Raising Money For A Good Cause
CKE Restaurants, the parent company of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s, announced that its annual Stars for Heroes campaign has raised over $1 million since launching on Memorial Day.
The campaign, which benefits post‑9/11 veterans and their families, is partnering with the nonprofit USA Cares, an organization dedicated to building skills and financial assistance to help veterans achieve long-term stability.
“Every year, we’re humbled by the generosity of our guests and franchise partners who rally behind this campaign,” Blake Devillier, President of Carl’s Jr, said. “Together, the teams at Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr., show their shared commitment to supporting the men and women who have served our country — not just in words, but in action.”
Since its launch, the Stars for Heroes campaign has raised over $15 million, directly benefiting thousands of military families across the United States.
“We are honored to continue our commitment to supporting veterans through the Stars for Heroes campaign,” Jennifer Tate, chief marketing officer at CKE Restaurants, said in a statement. “Veterans are an important part of our community at Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s, and this initiative is a wonderful opportunity for our guests to come together and make a difference in the lives of those who have served our country.”
The campaign is made possible through a partnership with the Star Franchise Association and the Independent Hardee’s Franchise Association, both of which also support a wide range of community-based veteran organizations.
USA Cares Is Committed to Serving Veterans In Need
According to its website, USA Cares is nonprofit committed to helping service members and forming a powerful community around them.
“Our services improve the quality of life for veterans and their families and reduce potential factors that can contribute to veteran suicide,” its website states.
Through programs such as the Military Assistance Response Program (MARP) for emergency financial assistance and the Career Transition Program for financial hardships and career changes, veterans experience life-changing support.
