Los Angeles Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the residence in the 200 block of South Chadbourne Avenue around 3:38 p.m. following a call for medical assistance.

Who Was Rob Reiner?

Rob was most well-known as being an American actor, director, and producer.

He first became widely known as an actor in the 1970s for his role as Michael “Meathead” Stivic on the classic TV sitcom All in the Family. He later found greater success behind the camera, helming several iconic films, including “Princess Bride” and “When Harry Met Sally.”

In addition to his professional work, Rob was active in political advocacy and founded American Foundation for Equal Rights, which played a key role in challenging California’s Proposition 8.

Rob Reiner’s Comments Surrounding Charlie Kirk’s Death Resurface

Rob was very vocal about his political beliefs, particularly in the past few months following the death of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk. Charlie was tragically assassinated on September 10 while speaking on a college campus.

Despite his differing political views than Charlie, during an interview with Piers Morgan, Rob described the way in which he was killed as an “absolute horror.”

Those heartfelt remarks have since resurfaced online following his death over the weekend.

“I unfortunately saw the video of it,” Rob said of Charlie’s assassination. “It’s beyond belief what happened to him.”

The “When Harry Met Sally” director emphasized that no matter what someone believes, they don’t deserve to be killed that way.

“I don’t care what your political beliefs are. That’s not acceptable. That’s not a solution to solving problems,” Rob explained.

He went on to praise Erika Kirk’s response at her husband’s memorial, saying that her forgiving her husband’s killer was “admirable.”

“And I felt like what his wife [Erika] said at the service at the memorial they had was exactly right,” Rob said. “I’m Jewish, but I believe in the teachings of Jesus, and I believe in ‘do unto others,’ and I believe in forgiveness, and what she said to me was beautiful. She forgave his assassin.”
