High Noon Is Recalling Hard Seltzers After Labeling Them As Energy Drinks

High Noon issued a voluntary recall after finding that some cans of its Beach Variety 12‑pack were actually vodka seltzers mislabeled as Celsius Astro Vibe Sparkling Blue Razz Edition energy drink.

The mix-up was traced back to a packaging supplier that accidentally provided High Noon with cans bearing Celsius branding.

The mislabeled products were distributed in late July to retailers and distributors across several states, including Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The labeling mistake may result in accidental alcohol consumption, which can pose serious health and safety risks, especially for children, individuals with medical conditions, or those who abstain from alcohol for religious or personal reasons.

So far, there have been no reports of illnesses or injuries related to the recall.

What Is High Noon?

High Noon is an American alcoholic beverage brand known for its vodka-based hard seltzers made with real fruit juice.

Launched in 2019 by the E. & J. Gallo Winery, one of the largest wine and spirits producers in the United States, High Noon quickly gained popularity. By 2023, it had become the nation’s top-selling spirits brand by volume, driven by its focus on premium ingredients and ready-to-drink convenience.

High Noon has expanded beyond vodka seltzers in recent years to include tequila‑based seltzers introduced in March 2023, vodka iced teas in May 2024, and vodka lemonade cans in May 2025.
