A New Video Is Currently Reigniting The Question: “Is ‘Bigfoot’ Real?”
Where did this legendary lore begin?
Whether you believe in Bigfoot or think this is all a funny joke, you have probably heard of the illusive creature. Bigfoot’s story has been in the news nationwide, sometimes even globally, since 1958.
The origins are debated amongst believers and deniers alike, but the History Channel documents the most likely story. According to the news network, the tale began with a large footprint.
“In 1958, journalist Andrew Genzoli of the ‘Humboldt Times’ highlighted a fun, if dubious, letter from a reader about loggers in northern California who’d discovered mysteriously large footprints.”
The journalist had no idea the story would ignite so much curiosity. In his original article, he even wrote, “Maybe we have a relative of the Abominable Snowman of the Himalayas,” which was clearly meant to be a joke.
Since the beginning of the “Bigfoot” or “Sasquatch” lore, there have been sightings. The most recent spotting has set the internet ablaze because it is the clearest one yet.

The Latest ‘Bigfoot’ Sighting
The video was caught by Emmanuel Alfarowho, who goes by e_man580 on TikTok. According to the TikTok video creator, he was taking a sightseeing walk in the Parallel Forest in Lawton, Oklahoma, when he captured the video. He claimed it was the “scariest moment of [his] life.”
He captioned the video, “Scariest moment of my life and I really think I caught a f**** Bigfoot on camera in parallel forest. I wakes [sic] just doing some sight seeing and enjoying the day and saw something in the distance. Im [sic] still shaking as I type this.”
