In-N-Out To Implement Major Menu Changes

In-N-Out Burger is moving towards a more natural approach for their loyal customers!

The California-based chain announced it will be removing artificial ingredients from some of their popular menu items.

“As part of our ongoing commitment to providing our customers with the highest-quality ingredients, we have removed artificial coloring from our Strawberry Shakes and Signature Pink Lemonade,” Patty Pena, a spokesperson for the company, confirmed to Fox News Digital this week.

While it is unclear which specific dyes have been removed or if the coloring will be replaced, the fast-food restaurant said they are aiming to switch to “real” ingredients.

“We’re also in the process of transitioning to an upgraded ketchup, which is made with real sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup,” Pena continued.

RFK’s Goal To Eliminate Artificial Ingredients From The U.S. Food Supply

In-N-Out’s announcement comes just one month after Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. revealed a plan to eliminate eight petroleum-based synthetic dyes from the American food supply.

RFK’s announcement marked the beginning of an approach to remove harmful food coloring including Red No. 3, Yellow No. 5 and Blue No. 1.

Red No. 3, formally known as erythrosine, is a synthetic food dye used to give food and drinks a bright red color. The Food and Drug Administration recently decided to ban its use over concerns that the dye is linked to cancer.

“We’re going to do real science, and we’re gonna do science precisely on the issues that Americans care about,” Kennedy said. “Making sure their kids are getting food that isn’t poison. The food our kids are eating today is not really food. It’s food-like substances.”

The move to eliminate toxic ingredients aligns with Kennedy’s broader “Make America Healthy Again” initiative, a health-focused approach that emphasizes natural living.

In-N-Out’s Incredible Legacy Of Faith And Family

During an interview with PragerU in December 2024, In-N-Out President and CEO Lynsi Snyder shared how her faith has helped her run one of America’s most beloved fast-food chains.

“As a Christian, accepting persecution and judgement from others has been part of the process,” Snyder, who inherited the company from her late father, said. “When you align yourself with Jesus, you’re making enemies.”

She explained how her father’s passing pushed her to more fully step into her role, holding the weight of her family’s legacy.

“All the things I was passionate about, I’m able to do in some way here at In-N-Out or through ministry,” Snyder said. “I try to make In-N-Out feel like my family, because in a way they are.”
