Remembering Conservative Influencer Charlie Kirk

On September 10, conservative commentator and Turning Point USA CEO Charlie Kirk was shot and killed while speaking on a college campus in Orem, Utah.

Kirk co-founded Turning Point USA in 2012, seeking to inspire the younger generation to embrace free speech. According to its website, Turning Point’s mission is to “identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government.”

Following his tragic death, millions of people around the world are remembering the 31-year-old and his remarkable legacy.

On September 21, nearly 90,000 people gathered at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, for a memorial service honoring Kirk.

People from across the country traveled to attend the public service. State Farm Stadium, which holds about 70,000, was filled to capacity.

The memorial service drew one of the largest crowds ever gathered for a private citizen.

Since his death, Kirk has been honored in a number of ways. The U.S. Senate passed a resolution, declaring a “National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk” to take place on his birthday, October 14.

“Mr. Kirk consistently promoted the values of individual liberty, open debate, the importance of civic engagement, and the defense of constitutional principles,” the resolution states.

The Turning Point co-founder was also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor.

The Aldeans To Present Erika Kirk With Inaugural Charlie Kirk Legacy Award

Country superstar Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany, will join the 7th Annual FOX Nation Patriot Awards this week to present the first-ever Charlie Kirk Legacy Award to Charlie’s widow, Erika.

The Aldeans, joined by FOX News’ Jesse Watters, will honor Mrs. Kirk with the award, which will now be given annually to those who reflect Charlie Kirk’s values: faith, family, and free speech.

Aldean will reportedly also take the stage during the show and perform some of his hit songs including “Try That In A Small Town,” and “How Far Does a Goodbye Go.”

The couple has previously expressed their admiration for Charlie and his values, and shortly after his passing, Jason dedicated one of his performances to him.

“Charlie’s a guy that’s going to be very, very much missed, and this is something that his legacy is going to live on forever with Turning Point and what he’s done with only 31 years on this planet. It’s amazing. So just a really tragic loss for everybody,” Jason said.

The 2025 FOX Nation Patriot Awards is set to take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 8p ET, and available for purchase on FoxNation.
