Jelly Roll Brings Out Eminem To Detroit Show
Superstar Jelly Roll recently lived out one of his childhood dreams!
On Sunday, May 18, the singer surprised an enthusiastic Detroit audience at Post Malone’s Big Ass Stadium Tour with their very own hometown star – Eminem.
As Jelly Roll was singing Eminem’s famous hit “Lose Yourself,” the rapper took the stage and joined for the final verse.
The two walked the stage together and briefly sang to an enthusiastic crowd screaming in excitement for the pair.
“Detroit, what up?! Make some noise for Jelly Roll!” Eminem said before exiting the stage. “Long time, no see. I love y’all. Peace!”

Jelly later told the crowd that the performance was an incredibly meaningful moment for him.
“If you can’t tell, that was a childhood dream come f––ing true, Detroit. This is the greatest show I’ve ever had in my f––ing life.” He added that Eminem’s music helped him navigate very dark times in his own journey.
While it is unclear as to what Jelly Roll was referring to, the singer has been vocal about his past struggles, including an 18-month jail sentence.
Today, he continues to actively support those navigating the challenges of incarceration, and often visits jails, including the one he spent time in, in order to give those still behind bars hope.
Speaking to a crowd of inmates at Riverbend Maximum Security Prison in Nashville, Jelly encouraged the men to learn from their mistakes and turn their life around.
“I know what it’s like to be behind these walls, and if we don’t have nothing else behind these walls, we have dreams gentlemen,” he said. “I encourage you to dream bigger when you go back to your cell tonight.”
