Jelly Roll Suffers Major “Hidden” Injury
Country singer Jelly Roll is finally opening up about a terrifying accident he kept private for months after nearly “totaling” his ATV. His wife, Bunnie XO, described the incident as the “worst day of my life.”
Despite suffering a major injury, Jelly has been nearly unstoppable in 2026.
Just last month, Jelly won three Grammy Awards. He took home the titles for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Amen” with Shaboozey, Best Contemporary Country Album for his album Beautifully Broken, and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for his collaboration on “Hard Fought Hallelujah” with Brandon Lake.
His Grammy acceptance speech quickly became one of the most memorable and talked-about moments afterwards. He began his speech by thanking two of the most important figures in his life: Bunnie, and Jesus.
Then, on February 23, Jelly announced a brand new upcoming tour, called The Little Ass Shed Tour. The tour will kick off on May 28th in West Palm Beach, Florida.
To top it all off, in just a few weeks, Jelly will receive one of country’s highest honors – being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.
He’ll also have the support of several country music friends who have joined the lineup for the night. Lainey Wilson, Craig Morgan, ERNEST, and Leanne Morgan have all been confirmed to take the stage during the special event.
Jelly Explains More About His Broken Collarbone
On Sunday (March 1), Jelly shared that while attending all of these massive events, he was actually dealing with some major pain. He revealed that during the ATV accident, he suffered a broken collarbone, adding to the seriousness of the crash he had kept private for months.
The “Save Me” singer said this weekend finally took his ATV out for the “first time” since flipping it over and sustaining the injury. Jelly even admitted that despite putting on a brave face, any time someone at the Grammys went to hug him he absolutely wanted to “cry.”
He explained that the only reason he was even getting back on the vehicle was because he knew if he didn’t soon, he probably never would. Despite thinking he totaled the ATV, Jelly shared it was able to be fully restored.
Bunnie also shared a video from the hospital as Jelly wore a neck brace, laughing as she asked if it gave the singer “more street cred.”
Jelly responded, joking that he was “full country boy” now.
