Keith Urban Wraps Up His High And Alive World Tour

Keith Urban wrapped up his High and Alive World Tour on Friday night (October 17) in Nashville, Tennessee. The tour began in May 2025 and has had quite a number of memorable moments.

The tour supported Urban’s recent hits, including tracks from his 2024 album “High”. He also of course sang many of his classics including “Somebody Like You,” and “Better Life.”

The country singer also walked through an extremely difficult season personally during the same time as the tour, as news broke in September that actress Nicole Kidman was filing for divorce from Urban following 19 years of marriage.

Court records revealed the divorce was filed in Nashville, with the actress citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Keith Urban Forgets His Own Lyric

At the final show of his High and Alive Tour on Friday (October 17) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Keith Urban paused mid‑song while performing “The Fighter.” He reached a lyric, smiled, and admitted, “I’ve forgotten my own words to my song.”

His touring duet‑partner for that night, Natalie Stovall, gracefully stepped in kept the performance moving while Urban found his place again.

“The Fighter” was quietly removed from Urban’s setlists following fan backlash over a previous performance, where he altered the lyrics to reference his guitarist, Maggie Baugh.

In 2017, Urban told Billboard that its lyrics came “from a conversation my wife and I had early on in our relationship, that when things get tough, I need to hold her tighter and just try to take care of her.”

During the performance, Urban decided to change up the song.

The original lyrics are: “When they’re tryna get to you, baby, I’ll be the fighter.

Urban instead sang: “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player.”

Baugh later shared footage of the performance on her social media. She captioned the video, “Did he just say that👀.”
