CONFIRMED: Keith Urban & His Manager Of 25 Years, Gary Borman, Will No Longer Work Together
on Feb 23, 2026

It’s been a year of major changes for Keith Urban, including the recent news that he will no longer be working with his longtime manager, Gary Borman.
On Sunday, February 22, the veteran talent manager revealed he is retiring after 50 years of leading his namesake company.
The Nashville-based business has represented major artists over the decades, such as The Rolling Stones, James Taylor, and Faith Hill.
The announcement was first reported by Page Six, which spoke directly with Urban about moving in a new direction after all these years. The country star had been signed with Borman Entertainment for 25 years.

“I’m so grateful to Gary (and my entire Borman Nashville family) for the most incredible and successful time together,” he told the outlet. “It was extraordinary – what we were able to accomplish together – and I’ll forever be grateful for the creative and collaborative spirit we were all a part of for so long. I wish Gary and everyone at Borman Entertainment the very best journey ahead and look forward to what the future holds for all of us.”
For Borman, the relationship and bond they built over the years mean just as much to him, and he will cherish them forever.
“Keith and I shared a journey not unlike brothers,” he said. “The place that I have in my heart will remain warm, and my mind filled with wonderful memories. I have been and will remain a fan.”
As of now, it’s unclear which management team Urban will join as he begins this next chapter.
The news of Keith Urban’s major career shift comes just one month after a change in his personal life.
In January, his divorce from Nicole Kidman was finalized.

In September 2025, it was revealed that the pair were separating after 19 years of marriage. Papers filed by Kidman cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of their split.
Since they parted ways, Urban has been the center of several rumors about his relationship status, including being linked to a few people he works with.
At the start of the year, there was a lot of speculation online that he and his former tourmate, Karly Scott Collins, were dating. Some even claimed that they had moved in together.
However, those rumors were quickly debunked by Collins herself after she addressed the false reports circulating online.
She ended up sharing a screenshot of an article on her Instagram story that had a headline that read: “Keith Urban moved in with Karley Scott Collins? Fresh speculation amid divorce.”
Her response was straight to the point. The up-and-coming country singer wrote: “Y’all, this is absolutely RIDICULOUS and untrue.”
