Keith Urban And Nicole Kidman Separate After 19 Years Of Marriage
A few days ago, several outlets reported that Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman and country music star Keith Urban had separated. It was suggested that the two had been apart since early summer.
Then, on Tuesday, September 30, PEOPLE confirmed that Kidman had officially filed for divorce in the Davidson County Circuit Court in Tennessee.

The couple’s breakup came as a huge shock to fans. However, many people are speculating that Urban may have hinted at their separation before the news came out.
Keith Urban’s Recent Performance Of “The Fighter” Raises Questions
At a show last week, Urban performed his song “The Fighter” with rising country star Maggie Baugh joining him on stage.
For those who don’t know, the song was originally inspired by his relationship with Kidman.
In 2017, Urban told Billboard that its lyrics came “from a conversation my wife and I had early on in our relationship, that when things get tough, I need to hold her tighter and just try to take care of her.”
Urban went on to explain that the song is about “wanting to heal somebody, wanting to take care of somebody, wanting to protect somebody. It’s really like a vow in so many ways.”

But this time, Urban decided to change up the song a little.
The original lyrics are: “When they’re tryna get to you, baby, I’ll be the fighter.”
Instead, Urban sang: “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player.”
Baugh ended up sharing footage of the performance on her Instagram. She captioned the video, “Did he just say that👀.”
Neither Kidman nor Urban has publicly addressed their split. Court records obtained by The Tennessean show that “irreconcilable differences” was listed as the reason for their divorce.
It was also mentioned that Kidman was granted primary custody of their two daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14.
