Kelly Clarkson’s latest Kellyoke segment left Jelly Roll in tears.

In a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Clarkson gave an emotional performance of “Save Me,” a song by Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson, as part of her regular Kellyoke segment, which features the singer and host covering songs from diverse artists and genres.
Not only did Clarkson’s performance impress the audience, but it also moved Jelly Roll to tears.
The acknowledgment really struck a chord for Jelly Roll, who took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express his gratitude and amazement that Clarkson chose his song to cover on her day time talk show.

“Save Me,” featuring Lainey Wilson, debuted on Jelly Roll’s first-ever country album, Whitsitt Chapel, a record-breaking release that made history as the most successful debut in Billboard Consumption Chart history. Their collaboration quickly rose to the very top of both the Billboard Country Airplay chart and the Mediabase chart, and, within a short 13 week period of gracing the country airwaves, “Save Me” claimed the title of the fastest-rising #1 hit for both Lainey and Jelly Roll. Their success from the duet was further acknowledged with a nomination for the Best Country Duo/Group Performance Award at the 2024 Grammys.
