Kid Rock Joined HHS Sec. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. To Encourage America To “Get Active” And “Eat Real Food”

2026 has been a busy year so far for Kid Rock.

In January, he testified before the U.S. Senate on concert and event ticketing reform.

Then, as millions tuned in for the Super Bowl on Feb. 8, Kid Rock was the headliner of Turning Point USA’s “All-American Halftime Show.”

Now, Kid Rock is hitting the gym — and the sauna — in a wild video shared by HHS Sec. Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

This is just the latest high-profile effort by RFK Jr. to further President Donald Trump and his administration’s Make America Healthy Again initiative.

“I’ve teamed up with Kid Rock to deliver two simple messages to the American people: GET ACTIVE + EAT REAL FOOD,” wrote RFK Jr. on X, formerly Twitter, on Feb. 17.

Attached to that post on X is a video of RFK Jr. working out with Kid Rock.

The video — which is set to Kid Rock’s 1998 hit “Bawitdaba,” from his album Devil Without A Cause — begins with RFK Jr. and Kid Rock standing beside one another in a sauna flexing their muscles.

Wearing his signature blue jeans, RFK Jr., who is 72 years old, appears to not be letting work at Health and Human Services in the Trump administration get between him and the gym.

Similarly, Kid Rock, 55, is looking fit and trim.

The title for this video then appears on the screen, reading “Secretary Kennedy And Kid Rock’s Rock Out Work Out,” as images of a grizzly bear, a shark, a fighter jet, and an American flag coalesce over one another.

In the comments for the video on Instagram, country artist ERNEST wrote, “This is a fever dream.”

Using the lat pulldown machine, we see Kid Rock and RFK Jr. working out side by side.

We also see them holding each other’s feet down as they do sit-ups and taking turns on the leg curl machine before alternating between push-ups and riding the elliptical bike.

For good measure, Kid Rock gives the camera the bird.

From there, RFK Jr. hits the ice bath in his jeans.

Walking back through the gym, RFK Jr. asks, “Where’s Kid?”

The camera then pans down, revealing Kid Rock enjoying some quiet time in the swimming pool before they face off in a round of pickleball.

What workout would be complete without whole milk? Taking another dip in the pool, RFK Jr. and Kid Rock enjoy some cold glasses of milk as they wade through the water.

Milk was recently the subject of an executive order — dubbed the Whole Milk For Healthy Kids Act, and signed by Trump on Jan. 14 — bringing whole milk and 2% milk back to public school cafeterias.

This video comes about six months after Sec. of War Pete Hegseth and RFK Jr. unveiled the “Pete and Bobby Challenge,” which asked Americans to complete 100 push-ups and 50 pull-ups in under 10 minutes.

Several members of the Trump administration participated in this effort, with U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Scott Turner doing the best, as he completed the challenge in five minutes and 15 seconds.

Trump, however, was revealed by RFK Jr. to be “exempt” from the challenge, joking during the Aug. 26, 2026, Cabinet meeting, “The only exemptions currently existing is if you can hit a 50 at Bedminster, which President Trump did with Bryson DeChambeau, so he is the only one exempt in this room.”
