Following Lisa Marie Presley‘s death in January 2023, her daughter, Riley Keough, and her mother, Priscilla Presley, entered a legal dispute over her estate. Priscilla filed a petition challenging the validity of a 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie Presley’s trust.

This amendment removed Priscilla as a trustee and appointed Lisa Marie’s children, Riley and Benjamin Keough, as new trustees. Benjamin however died in 2020, leaving Riley as the sole trustee listed in the will.

After months of back-and-forth, Riley and Priscilla reached a settlement over Lisa Marie’s estate in May of 2023. That settlement established Riley as the lone trustee and made her the owner of Elvis‘ Graceland property in Memphis, Tennessee.

The settlement also granted Priscilla permission to be buried at Graceland upon her death.

Riley has since said that she’s found “clarity” with her grandma. “Things with Grandma will be happy,” she said. “They’ve never not been happy.”

Priscilla Presley Sued In New Lawsuit

According to a recent lawsuit filed by her former business partners Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, Priscilla allegedly hid a multi-million dollar jewelry collection from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The lawsuit claims the collection was worth “upwards of $25 million.”

The 80-year-old widow of Elvis Presley was accused of submitting a “Form 433-A to the IRS in an attempt to negotiate down her tax obligations, where she falsely represented to the IRS on May 4, 2023, that she only owned jewelry worth $6,000.”

Kruse and Fialko said they were “working to finalize the settlement between Priscilla and Riley, at Priscilla’s demand (ultimately resulting in a multi-million-dollar payment that Priscilla needed, and resulting in multi-million-dollar payouts to other family members).”

The lawsuit also alleges that Priscilla was aware she owned a “multi-million-dollar jewelry collection, and owned collectibles on display and in storage at Graceland worth upwards of $25 million.”

Priscilla’s Attorney Denies The Claims

Priscilla’s attorney, Marty Singer, shared with PEOPLE that “the claims made by Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko are absurd and completely without merit.”

“This false claim is nothing more than a sad and vicious attempt to tarnish the reputation of an 80-year-old woman,” Singer said.

Singer added that the two were “engaging in misappropriation of substantial monies from Priscilla Presley and engaging in elder abuse.”
