Which Country Stars Own A Bar?
Nashville, Tennessee is home to bars and music venues galore, many of which are owned by some of country music’s biggest stars.
The venues have rapidly transformed Nashville’s Broadway, once primarily home to traditional honky-tonks and local joints.
These bars have added significant draws for tourism, but have also raised concerns among locals about the loss of Nashville’s traditional character.
There’s no doubt these bars are a great place to go while visiting town, though!

10 Country Music Singers Who Own A Bar In Nashville
Lainey Wilson
In May 2024, Lainey Wilson celebrated the opening of her very own bar, Bell Bottoms Up.
The establishment, located at 120 3rd Avenue South in Nashville’s South Broadway district, is a three-level bar spanning 27,000 square feet. It features two stages, four bars, and a mezzanine floor with a lounge bar overlooking the dining area. The bar has fun 70s western decor throughout, with a Cajun-inspired menu catering to her Louisiana roots.
Luke Bryan
Luke Bryan opened his bar, “Luke’s 32 Bridge,” on September 10, 2018. The venue is a multi-level entertainment complex featuring live music, bars, and restaurants, named after the bridge that crosses the Flint River in a place special to Bryan, according to the bar’s website.
The name of the bar alludes to Luke’s childhood home near Route 32 Bridge in Lee County, Georgia. The menu at the bar draws inspiration from some of the singer’s favorite foods including hot chicken bites, avocado toast, salads, and a variety of burgers.
Jason Aldean
“Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar” made its grand debut in June of 2018. The four-story venue is a partnership between country music star Jason Aldean and TC Restaurant Group.
Located on Broadway in the heart of downtown Nashville, the bar features a 1961 John Deere 4020 tractor, paying tribute to Aldean’s hit “Big Green Tractor.”

Alan Jackson
Alan Jackson’s bar, “AJ’s Good Time Bar,” opened in 2016. The bar features live music on its multiple floors, a rooftop with city views, karaoke, and a sports bar, all housed in Nashville’s oldest building on Broadway.
The building was previously a civil war hospital, Nashville’s first used record store and the home of Bullet Records.
Morgan Wallen
Morgan Wallen partnered with TC Restaurant Group, a developer and manager for entertainment and dining establishments, to open his honky tonk called “This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen,” paying homage to his popular 2019 hit.
This Bar has six floors including a rooftop, and is a live music venue as well as a restaurant.
“I sing about finding myself in ‘This Bar’ and now it’s coming to life. This venue will hold true to everything I love and is inspired by my fans and the way they have embraced me and my music,” Wallen said of the venture.

Garth Brooks
Country music legend Garth Brooks opened a bar named after one of his all time favorite hits, “Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk.”
Friends in Low Places is nestled between Nudie’s Honky-Tonk and where the historic Ernest Tubb Record Shop was once located. The venue is just a couple of doors down from Alan Jackson’s AJ’s Good Time Bar and across the street from Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge.
To ensure visitors safety, Brooks partnered with Metro Nashville to build a new Metro Nashville Police Department substation and Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure traffic control room in the alley of the property.
Dolly Parton
On August 1, 2025 Dolly Parton officially opened “Dolly Wines“, a boutique wine bar located in Nashville’s bustling Assembly Food Hall at Fifth + Broadway.
The newly opened bar offers a curated selection from the brand, alongside seasonal offerings like a house-made sangria and themed cocktails including the “Country Couture” and “Sweet on Tennessee.” A mimosa bar is also available on weekends, catering to both tourists and locals seeking a taste of Dolly’s Southern flair.
The space is marked by signature blue lighting, a sleek bar design, and a prominent photo of Parton holding a bottle of her wine. The wine bar delivers a full experience that reflects Dolly’s signature blend of glamour and charm.
Blake Shelton
Blake Shelton opened Nashville’s “Ole Red” in May of 2018 following the opening of its first location in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
The spot combines Southern hospitality, live music, and delicious Southern-inspired cuisine. With a lively atmosphere, Ole Red captures the essence of Shelton’s personality, making it a go-to destination for country music enthusiasts and food lovers.
Most recently, Shelton expanded Ole Red on the Las Vegas strip.
Post Malone
Earlier this year, Post Malone opened a three-floor venue featuring six bars and three stages.
Named “Posty’s,” the bar replaced the former Tequila Cowboy and Wannabes karaoke bar locations.
Located in Lower Broadway, Posty’s ground floor features a VIP lounge, stage and a gift shop. The rooftop hosts a patio with views of Nashville’s bustling skyline.
Riley Green
In September 2024, Riley Green opened his sports bar, “Duck Blind,” located in midtown Nashville at 1913 Division St.
The Duck Blind took over the classic Nashville bar, Winners Bar & Grill. It is connected to Losers Bar & Grill in Midtown Nashville. Losers is a Nashville staple and hosts live music, like Post Malone’s recent release party for his F-1 TrillionAlbum.
Duck Blind has a stage for live music and is surrounded by wall-to-wall televisions, making it the perfect place to be this football season.
