Luke Combs Shares New Teaser Of “Giving Her Away,” Announces Official Release Date

Luke Combs fans will be able to hear his new song in full very soon.
On Sunday, November 30, Combs shared a video on his Instagram account featuring a clip of him singing his new song titled “Giving Her Away.”
For fans who have been following along, you know this isn’t the first teaser Combs has shared ahead of the track’s release. He’s been dropping hints for quite a while.
Last week, he gave a glimpse of the song’s lyrics by posting a black-and-white photo of a piece of paper with the words printed on it. On top of the paper sat a pair of headphones, showing that he was likely in the studio recording.
In Combs’ latest video, he’s seen sitting down with a black acoustic guitar in his hands. He’s wearing a camo hoodie and a red hat that says “REBA” on it.
He begins to strum the guitar, and sings a little snippet of lyrics. The song is written in the perspective of a groom talking to his future wife’s father as he prepares to give her away.

With this new sneak peek, fans became even more excited for the song to drop. Many of them left comments on the video about how ready they are. A few messages that were left include:
“cannot wait to listen to this on repeat”
“This man could cough into a microphone for 2 minutes straight and I’d listen to it on repeat”
“this is about to the number 1 father daughter dance songs at weddings”
So when will “Giving Her Away” be released?
Well, Combs isn’t going to make fans wait very long. He revealed that the full song will officially be available this Friday, December 5!
