Lynyrd Skynyrd Unveils First Video For “Free Bird”

Legendary rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd released the first official “Free Bird” music video more than 50 years later.

The video, over nine minutes long, features an older man taking out his motorcycle for a ride, joyfully reflecting back on his youth.

The band released the music video to its official YouTube channel last Friday (May 23).

50 Years Of Lynyrd Skynyrd

Lynyrd Skynyrd is an American rock band known for their smooth sounds of blending rock, blues, and country.

“Free Bird” was the top hit on Skynyrd’s debut album titled Pronounced ‘Lh-‘nérd ‘Skin-‘nérd.

The band is currently on its “50th Anniversary Tour 2025” and will host shows in countries around the world.
