Brawl Breaks Out At Texas Bass Pro Shop
What started as a disagreement over a restroom line in a new Bass Pro Shops in Odessa, Texas, quickly escalated into a multi-person brawl on Saturday (November 1), authorities said.
Bass Pro Shops is a major American retail chain that specializes in outdoor recreation and sporting goods, especially for hunting, fishing, camping, and boating enthusiasts.
According to their Facebook page, Bass Pro Shops Odessa held their grand opening just days before the incident.
Police were reportedly called to the store on November 1 just before 3 p.m. local time after a disturbance was reported. Videos shared online show punches being thrown and bystanders shouting for the fight to stop.
The two men who initially started the fight suffered minor injuries, though neither required hospitalization. They were allegedly issued criminal trespass warnings and released at the scene. Police said they have also been banned from the store.
Despite the chaos, no arrests were made, as those involved declined to press charges.
